Tiffany & Co. is one of the most-loved jewellery designers of all time – and it's easy to see why. Just a mention of the brand conjures up images of the iconic blue box, diamonds shimmering on the necks of Hollywood princesses and the world-renowned flagship store on Fifth Avenue.

In 1868, Tiffany & Co. started manufacturing gold, making the luxury metal readily available to Americans for the first time. To this day, the house of jewels uses the finest 18-carat gold in many of its styles. The celebrated atelier is also responsible for introducing a selection of precious gemstones to the world. Before the mid-19th century, coloured stones were often overlooked in favour of diamonds, but Tiffany & Co. changed this by celebrating such wonderful discoveries as gleaming pink morganite and dazzling tanzanite.
